Most of Spain can be arranged over breakfast. These cannot. They run on half-hour entry slots, named tickets and daily caps that filled up weeks before your flight got cheap.

The Alhambra is three sites on one hill and only one of them is rationed: the Nasrid Palaces, entered in half-hour slots under a daily cap. Your name is printed on the ticket and ID is checked at the door, which is why the resale market does not exist and why the gate cannot help you in August. Guided entries hold their own allocation, so they are often still available when the general tickets have gone.

The Tablao Hour
Flamenco came out of Andalusia rather than Madrid, and a tablao is a room with a wooden floor, not a stage with a curtain. The floor is part of the instrument — the boards amplify the heels. Seville and Jerez keep the oldest rooms, Madrid keeps the biggest, and the late show is usually the one the dancers themselves prefer.

August in Seville is not a walking holiday.
Inland Andalusia sits past 40°C for weeks at a time; Seville and Córdoba are routinely the hottest cities in Europe. The Spanish answer is structural, not heroic: the early slot, a dark interior, water, and nothing at all between two and six. Evening departures exist for a reason.
